Baseball Recap: Oxbow Comes Up Short

If Oxbow was riding high fresh off their 14-6 takedown of Lake Region on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Olympians fell 8-3 to the Randolph Ghosts on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Olympians of the 9-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2025.

Oxbow saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Bohan, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Oxbow has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Randolph, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Coming up, Oxbow will venture away from home to face off against Harwood at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Randolph does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
