Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Faith Christian Academy lost against Renaissance Academy back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Faith Christian Academy Lions fell 38-30 to the Renaissance Academy Knights.

Kasira Barber was the offensive standout of the game as she posted seven points along with ten boards and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Dallis Stewart, who put up nine points and six rebounds.

Faith Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Renaissance Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-10.

The future could be bright for both Faith Christian Academy and Renaissance Academy: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Faith Christian Academy will look to extend Palisades' eight-game losing streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Renaissance Academy will try to hand Dock Mennonite their third-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
