Baseball Recap: Camden County Comes Up Short

Camden County managed to slip by Valdosta the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Camden County lost 9-2 to Valdosta on Tuesday. Camden County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Valdosta apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Camden County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Titus House, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave House a new career-high in hits.

Camden County dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Valdosta, they moved to 8-6 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

While Camden County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
