Soccer Game Preview: George Washington Prep vs. Jordan

George Washington Prep and Jordan are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2019, but likely not for long. The George Washington Prep Generals will face off against the Jordan Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. George Washington Prep is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

George Washington Prep is headed into Wednesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 11. Neither they nor Hawkins could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

George Washington Prep's goal came courtesy of Yazmin Chanax, who's now up to seven this season.

Meanwhile, Jordan earned a 3-1 win over Dymally on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Jordan's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. George Washington Prep's draw gives them a new season record of 8-4-2.

George Washington Prep skirted past Jordan 1-0 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for George Washington Prep since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
