San Jacinto piles up the points against La Quinta

Recap: San Jacinto Tigers vs. La Quinta Blackhawks

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the San Jacinto Tigers had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They breezed by the Blackhawks at home to the tune of 55-17. San Jacinto has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

San Jacinto was led to victory by Luv'lee Sadler and Keyera Cameron. Sadler dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds, while Cameron dropped a double-double on 14 points and 25 rebounds. Cameron is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Jahdai Dwyer was another key contributor, scoring three points along with four steals.

The win was the 12th in a row for San Jacinto, bringing their record for this year to 21-8. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 47.2 points. As for La Quinta, they now have a losing record at 13-14.

San Jacinto will take on Whittier at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in San Jacinto's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 12 matches. La Quinta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
