Basketball Recap: Patriot Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Patriot's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They strolled past the Murrieta Mesa Rams with points to spare, taking the game 46-31. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2015.

Murrieta Mesa's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Serena Peoples, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds, and Janesa Johnson, who posted nine points.

Patriot is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for Murrieta Mesa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Patriot wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 61-45 victory against La Mirada on the 26th. Murrieta Mesa has also already played their next game, a 40-28 win against Northwood on the 26th.
