Softball Recap: Terrell Academy's Run of Six Straight Victories Now Over

Terrell Academy and Westfield School squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Terrell Academy had to settle for second. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets. The Eagles were red-hot at the plate heading into the contest (they scored no less than ten runs in the three matchups prior), but the Hornets' pitchers proved too tough.

Terrell Academy moved to 21-7 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Westfield School, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
