Softball Recap: Battle Mountain Takes a Loss

Battle Mountain lost against Eagle Valley on Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Huskies lost 19-4 to the Devils. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Battle Mountain saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harper Jimenez Anders, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs.

Battle Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Eagle Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-13.

Coincidentally, Battle Mountain and Eagle Valley will both be playing Meeker the next time they take the field. The Huskies will head out to face the Cowboys at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Devils will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
