Football Recap: Peoria Heights Falls to Milford/Cissna Park in First Game of Season

Peoria Heights had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 34-20 bruising from the Milford/Cissna Park Bearcats on Saturday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peoria Heights will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Schlarman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milford/Cissna Park, they will welcome St. Thomas More at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will give the Bearcats their first taste of in-conference action this season.
