Orange Lutheran improved to 3-0 with a 15-13 win over St. Frances Academy (Baltimore). The Lancers have not allowed more than 14 points in any game this year and have one of the best defenses in the country led by four-star junior linebacker Talanoa Ili.

No. 4 Duncanville (Texas) hosts No. 22 St. Frances Academy in another huge out-of-state showdown. The Panthers opened the season with a 34-12 win over South Oak Cliff (Dallas) and have won 30 of their last 31 games.

The third MaxPreps Top 25 matchup features No. 20 Buford (Ga.) at No. 11 Douglas County (Douglasville, Ga.) on Friday. Buford has won two games in a row after a season-opening 13-10 loss at No. 3 Milton (Ga.). Douglas County improved to 4-0 with a 21-14 win over Langston Hughes (Fairburn, Ga.).

In another huge Peach State showdown, No. 9 Carrollton hosts Gainesville on Friday. This game is loaded with talent led by a couple of USC commits.
