Soccer Recap: Lathrop Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Lathrop Spartans came up short against the Johansen Vikings and fell 3-1. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lathrop's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Johansen, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lathrop will face off against Livingston at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Johansen, they will venture away from home to challenge Central Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Central Valley will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Johansen surely won't give up without a fight.
