Soccer Recap: Norco's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Norco entered their game against Canyon Springs on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Norco Cougars fell just short of the Canyon Springs Cougars by a score of 2-1. Norco was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Canyon Springs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.

Norco's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2. As for Canyon Springs, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Norco will host Magnolia at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Canyon Springs, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Valley View at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
