Basketball Game Preview: Wilson Bulldogs vs. Archbishop Carroll Patriots

The Wilson Bulldogs will face off against the Archbishop Carroll Patriots on Tuesday. Wilson will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Wilson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They managed a 51-46 victory over Upper Dublin. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Cardinals are ranked seventh).

Meanwhile, Archbishop Carroll didn't have too much trouble with Council Rock South on Friday as they won 61-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Patriots.

Archbishop Carroll's win came from a few key players Wilson will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Alexis Eberz, who posted 16 points. Her big performance that evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayla Eberz, who had 15 points.

Wilson's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.7 points over those games. As for Archbishop Carroll, their win bumped their record up to 18-9.
