Soccer Recap: Woodrow Wilson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cabrillo last Tuesday, Woodrow Wilson came back down to earth. The Woodrow Wilson Bruins fell 3-1 to the Millikan Rams on Tuesday. The Bruins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Woodrow Wilson's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1-1 and their overall record down to 7-3-2. As for Millikan, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4-3.

Woodrow Wilson and Millikan should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Woodrow Wilson (ranked 107th) will meet Compton (ranked 1089th) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Millikan will challenge Jordan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday up 699 places (144 vs. 843).
