Basketball Recap: Vacaville Christian Beats San Juan for Their Third Straight Victory

Vacaville Christian extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Elena Vizcay. The Vacaville Christian Falcons breezed by the San Juan Spartans to the tune of 53-15 on Tuesday thanks in part to Vizcay, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten steals. Vizcay is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Kayla Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as she scored her first points of the season. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in points (two).

Vacaville Christian's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-9. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 19.3 points per game. As for San Juan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Vacaville Christian has already played their next matchup (against Lindhurst), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Juan will welcome Woodland Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Woodland Christian will roll in looking for their 17th straight win, something San Juan surely won't give up without a fight.
