Football Game Preview: Ballantyne Ridge Wolves vs. Ardrey Kell Knights + How To Watch

The Ballantyne Ridge Wolves will take on the Ardrey Kell Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Ballantyne Ridge has given up an average of 38.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ballantyne Ridge is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They were dealt a 54-14 loss at the hands of Palisades. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.

Although Ballantyne Ridge took the loss, they still got scores from Caleb Owens and Zion Caesar.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ardrey Kell). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Rocky River 35-7. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their 11-point performance the matchup before.

Ballantyne Ridge better keep an eye on Jared Curtis. He was instrumental in Ardrey Kell's win, rushing for 95 yards and two scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for 223 yards and three TDs. Those three passing touchdowns gave Curtis a new career-high.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Ardrey Kell proved: they limited Rocky River to a paltry 0.1 yards per carry. The Knights' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.2 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 4.2 on average over their last three games.

Ardrey Kell's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-3. As for Ballantyne Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Ballantyne Ridge took a serious blow against Ardrey Kell in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 74-7. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wolves were down 60-7.
