Henley VanGorp was a major factor in Staley's victory over Central on Saturday. VanGorp didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
