Basketball Game Preview: Southern Huntingdon County Rockets vs. Mifflin County Huskies

The Southern Huntingdon County Rockets will take on the Mifflin County Huskies at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Southern Huntingdon County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests.

Southern Huntingdon County is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Williamsburg just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Pirates.

Meanwhile, Mifflin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against Mechanicsburg, falling 65-34. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Wildcats are ranked 35th).

Mifflin County's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Southern Huntingdon County, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5.
