Valley Christian put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. They came out on top against the West Wolfpack by a score of 3-1. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 437th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Grace Morton and Khloe Rivera scored all three of Valley Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Valley Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0-1. As for West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Valley Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Branham at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. West will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Monterey Trail at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
