Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Takes a Loss

Harrisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 65-25 loss at the hands of the Altoona Mountain Lions. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 535th, while the Mountain Lions are ranked 17th).

Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Altoona, the win (which was their 17th in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Harrisburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Altoona, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-30 victory against Mechanicsburg on the 11th.
