Football Recap: Maranatha Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Maranatha Christian Academy fell 14-6 to Uniontown. Maranatha Christian Academy lost against Uniontown in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 64-0 score last time.

The critical scores for Uniontown came from Hunter Johnson and Gaige Lape.

Maranatha Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Uniontown, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maranatha Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Uniontown, they will challenge Central Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
