Soccer Game Preview: Castro Valley vs. Petaluma

Castro Valley is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Freedom as Castro Valley made off with a 4-1 victory. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but the Trojans were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Petaluma kept a clean sheet against American on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Eagles 1-0. The Trojans' winning goal came courtesy of Gianna Johnson.

The win made it two in a row for Castro Valley and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Petaluma, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
