Basketball Recap: Rocky Grove Takes a Loss

Rocky Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 32-30 heartbreaker at the hands of the Iroquois Braves. The Orioles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves earlier this season, when they won 32-31.

Rocky Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Iroquois, they moved to 3-10 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Rocky Grove has already played their next contest, a 52-19 loss against Maplewood on the 23rd. As for Iroquois, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 49-12 defeat against Union City on the 23rd.
