Softball Recap: Odessa Comes Up Short

Odessa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oak Grove Panthers. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Odessa's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Oak Grove, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Odessa will challenge Marshall at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oak Grove, they will take on Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
