Basketball Recap: Fountain Valley Comes Up Short

The Barons have struggled against the Griffins recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Fountain Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Los Alamitos, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6.

Fountain Valley and Los Alamitos should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Fountain Valley (ranked 146th) will meet Edison (ranked 961st) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Los Alamitos will face off against Huntington Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday up 274 places (135 vs. 409).
