McLoud had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Checotah Wildcats with a sharp 9-1 win on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Redskins, who have now won 12 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Ella Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
