Football Recap: Northern Falls Despite Big Games from Dylan Allafi and Blake Pasik + How To Watch

Northern fought the good fight in their overtime game against Patuxent on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 34-31. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Northern's loss came despite strong showings from Blake Pasik and Dylan Allafi. Pasik threw for 233 yards and a pair of TDs, while Allafi rushed for 105 yards on only nine carries.

Northern's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Patuxent, the victory also got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Northern will head out to challenge Calvert at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cavaliers' defense has only allowed 5.8 points per game this season, so the Patriots' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Patuxent, they are taking a road trip to take on Leonardtown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
