Softball Recap: Desert Heights Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against Maryvale Prep last Friday, Desert Heights Prep came back down to earth. The Yote came up short against the Joseph City Wildcats on Friday, falling 24-0.

Desert Heights Prep's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Joseph City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-4.

Desert Heights Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Joseph City, they will be playing at home against Duncan at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildkats have averaged an impressive 11.2 runs per game this season.
