Soccer Game Preview: Torres vs. Marquez

Torres is 0-9-1 against Marquez since February of 2020 but things could change on Wednesday. The Toros will look to defend their home pitch against the Gladiators at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Torres' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Maywood Academy as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Torres needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marquez). They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Elizabeth on Monday. The win was nothing new for Marquez as they're now sitting on six straight.

Marquez's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Torres, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.
