Basketball Recap: Summerfield Waldorf Comes Up Short

Summerfield Waldorf was the 62-12 winner over Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Summerfield Waldorf Mustangs were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 28-27 to the Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy Cougars. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Summerfield Waldorf's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy, they moved to 1-4 with that win, which also ended their 11-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summerfield Waldorf will host North Bay Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Summerfield Waldorf's defense has only allowed 25.9 points per game this season, so North Bay Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pleasant Hill Adventist Academy, they will challenge North Hills Christian on Tuesday.
