Volleyball Recap: West Anchorage Wins High-Profile Match Against Bettye Davis East Anchorage + How To Watch

West Anchorage faced Bettye Davis East Anchorage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Thunderbirds, sneaking past 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Thunderbirds last Friday, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

West Anchorage was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 19-25, 25-16, 15-9.

Zoey Fox paced West Anchorage's offense, picking up 12 kills. Fox got some help from Ava Warren and her 11 assists. Macey Rader and Sadie Canaii kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.
