Soccer Recap: Lakeside Takes a Loss

Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edgewood Warriors. Lakeside fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Edgewood since Tuesday.

Lakeside's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-2. As for Edgewood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-2-4 record this season.

Lakeside wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against LaBrae on the 2nd. As for Edgewood, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Grand Valley on the 2nd.
