Soccer Game Preview: Cloverdale vs. St. Helena

The Cloverdale Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Helena Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cloverdale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Cloverdale fell victim to Roseland University Prep and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, St. Helena has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 7. They came up short against Sonoma Academy on Friday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 868th, while the Coyotes are ranked 167th).

St. Helena's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-5. As for Cloverdale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-1.
