Basketball Recap: Berkmar Takes a Loss

Berkmar has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 64-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cypress Bay Lightning on Friday.

Berkmar's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Cypress Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berkmar will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bethlehem Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Cypress Bay, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Harlan County at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
