Baseball Game Preview: Plainfield North Tigers vs. Oswego East Wolves

For the second straight game, Plainfield North will face off against Oswego East. The Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Wolves at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plainfield North's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Oswego East's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Plainfield North came out on top against Oswego East on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run first inning. The Tigers were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Wolves. Considering the Tigers have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Plainfield North and bumps their season record up to 15-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Oswego East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.
