While New Hampton's victory against Denver wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Chickasaws sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Cyclones on Saturday. The victory continues a trend for the Chickasaws in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now won six in a row.

New Hampton's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Denver, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

New Hampton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 loss against Nashua-Plainfield on the 21st. Denver has also already played their next game (against Dike-New Hartford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
