Football Recap: Desert Hills Thunder vs. Centennial Bulldogs

Desert Hills came into this matchup off a tough 47-point loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Centennial Bulldogs by a score of 18-15 on Friday. The Thunder were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Although Desert Hills took the loss, they still got scores from Isaac Andresen and Anyzja Cummings.

Centennial was led to victory by Jayden Thomas and Brogan Church. Thomas picked up 92 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while Church rushed for 101 yards and one score. Thomas was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 57 yards.

Desert Hills now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Centennial, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
