The Buchanan Bears will venture away from home to square off against the Clovis North Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Buchanan nor Clovis North posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

Buchanan managed to slip by Clovis West the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears lost 29-7 to the Golden Eagles on Friday. It was the first time this season that the Bears let down their fans at home.

Buchanan was dealt a bruising 51-14 loss at the hands of Clovis North when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Broncos' Lucas Smith, who threw for 130 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.
