Volleyball Recap: Paul VI Extends Winning Streak to Four

Paul VI had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Charles J. Colgan Sharks.

Paul VI had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-22, 15-10.

Paul VI got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amanda Dadio out in front who had four aces and three digs. Those three digs gave Dadio a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Clara Hays, who had ten digs and two assists.

Paul VI's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Charles J. Colgan, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-3.

Paul VI has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Flint Hill on the 27th. As for Charles J. Colgan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Gar-Field on the 29th.
