Football Game Preview: West Franklin Falcons vs. Central Heights Vikings

The West Franklin Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Central Heights Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

West Franklin's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Osage City on Friday. They were dealt a 74-0 loss at the hands of the Indians. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas football rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Indians are ranked 62nd).

Meanwhile, Central Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Bluestem, falling 40-6.

West Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Central Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 0-4.

West Franklin was dealt a bruising 46-0 loss at the hands of Central Heights in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
