Basketball Recap: Garnet Valley Picks Up 20th Straight Win at Home

On ThursdayLower Merion kept up with Garnet Valley until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. Everything went the Garnet Valley Jaguars' way against the Lower Merion Aces as the Garnet Valley Jaguars made off with a 58-38 victory. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Garnet Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Haylie Adamski led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. The contest was Adamski's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Mulholland, who posted 14 points in addition to six boards and six steals.

Garnet Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Garnet Valley's win was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Lower Merion, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Garnet Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-24 victory against Upper Darby on the 28th. Lower Merion has also already played their next match, a 52-51 loss against Pennridge on the 25th.
