Southwest EC has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Holtville, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-12.

Holtville strolled past Southwest EC in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 58-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Holtville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
