While Andover's victory against Moorhead wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Huskies won by a run and slipped past the Spuds 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Huskies have posted against the Spuds since May 21, 2022.

Blake Baumann looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Andover saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Daluge, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Keaton Coe also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Andover's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Moorhead, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Andover and Moorhead will both be playing Alexandria the next time they take the field. The Huskies will host the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Spuds will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
