Football Game Preview: Loganville Red Devils vs. Jackson County Panthers + How To Watch

The Loganville Red Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Jackson County Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Loganville has struggled recently with eight losses in a row, while Jackson County will arrive with six straight victories.

Last Friday, Loganville lost to Clarke Central at home by a 28-9 margin.

Meanwhile, Jackson County blew past Winder-Barrow, posting a 57-13 win. Considering the Panthers have won six contests by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson County's win came from a few key players Loganville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Daylan Maxwell, who rushed for 224 yards and three scores while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 44 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards. Jayson Lee was in the mix as well, providing Jackson County with two TDs.

Jackson County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 395 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 204 rushing yards in six consecutive matchups.

Loganville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Jackson County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Loganville was dealt a bruising 31-0 loss at the hands of Jackson County when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Maxwell, who rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry, and also picked up 54 receiving yards.
