Arvin waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Golden Valley Bulldogs. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Iscel Villa was the driving force of Arvin's attack as she scored both of Arvin's goals, bringing her season total up to eight goals.

Arvin's win bumped their record up to 9-7-2. As for Golden Valley, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-6-2.

Arvin didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Foothill on the 17th. Golden Valley has also already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Tehachapi on the 17th.
