Soccer Recap: Hawkinsville Takes a Loss

Hawkinsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Macon County Bulldogs who were credited with the win. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hawkinsville of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Martin Mcdonald, who's now up to two this season.

Hawkinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Macon County, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

As of now, neither Hawkinsville nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
