Basketball Recap: Citrus Hill Comes Up Short

Citrus Hill lost against Hillcrest on January 14th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Citrus Hill Hawks were outmatched by the Hillcrest Trojans and fell 63-18. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Citrus Hill has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Hillcrest, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Citrus Hill Hawks duke it out with the Vista del Lago Ravens at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hillcrest, they will venture away from home to square off against Lakeside at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hillcrest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
