Baseball Recap: Parkway North Comes Up Short

Parkway North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Webster Groves Statesmen, falling 12-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 21-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Parkway North's defeat dropped their record down to 6-26-1. As for Webster Groves, they moved to 9-23 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Parkway North and Webster Groves could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Vikings will square off against Rockwood Summit at 1:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (375 vs. 25). Meanwhile, Webster Groves (ranked 188th) will meet Jackson (ranked 11th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
