Soccer Game Preview: Jefferson vs. El Camino

The Jefferson Grizzlies will head out to take on the El Camino Colts at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Jefferson is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals two weeks ago, they were much more limited against Mills two weeks ago. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 7-1.

Meanwhile, El Camino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mills.

El Camino's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Jefferson, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Everything went Jefferson's way against El Camino when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Jefferson made off with a 4-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jefferson since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
