Soccer Recap: Pleasant Valley Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pleasant Valley can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Maria Carrillo Pumas on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Pleasant Valley and nudges their season record down to 13-8. As for Maria Carrillo, they pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Pleasant Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maria Carrillo, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Menlo School at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Menlo School's last seven matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
